Profound Reflections.

During a great awakening of consciousness Tom Bolton attempted to put in writing some insights.

These came out in rhyme over a period of three months in the mid eighties. He wrote spontaneously over eighty insights in stanza format.

Below are a few examples, and a link to the full published work.

Enjoy.

Profound Reflections

Love  IS

Love makes the world go around, they say,
and other planets too.
Love makes the Universe expand,
into space created anew.

Love lies beyond all nature’s laws,
but also lives within them.
Love is the motivating force
of all that is akin then.

Love is the cause of everything
and every no-thing too,
Love lies within and is without,
it’s everything that’s true.

Love always was and always is
and ever will remain.
For when this Universe dissolves,
Love stays within the same.

For Seven Eternities Love will rest
and then its web will stir,
causing Mother, Father, Son
Creation to prepare.

Again Love’s Universe will be,
improved in its design,
evolving onwards endlessly
until that special time;

when love at last fulfils its yen,
its purpose, yet unknown to men,
will be revealed for all as one
beyond Eternities and on.

The Mystic a Stuntsman

The mystic is the stuntsman
on the way to heavens door,
‘cos to qualify to start the run,
he must be very sure,
that he’s free of all the vices,
of the ordinary man
and ready to conform
to a Wisdom Masters Plan.

The way ahead is strewn with wrecks
of those who’ve broken spiritual necks,
caught inside of ego’s noose,
and then too late; trying to break loose.

Still undeterred he gets away,
his senses must be one they say,
to enable him a voice to ehar,
coming from the silence near.

Then ignorance gives way to learning,
in the third hall, wisdom earning,
the right for him to carry on
and meet his master for more fun.

Ahead lie summits that are the feet,
of other summits still more steep;
climbing through portals and seeing lights,
of gold and blue and brilliant white.

Watching out for snares and ogres,
tripping over Hell’s red hot boulders,
then up ahead he sees a gate,
to open it must be his fate.

Now facing him, a sea of woe,
across its waters he must ogo,
to swim fast to the other side
and thank his Lord he’s still alive.

At last ahead a final peak,
he crawls up it although he’s weak.
his Master smiles at him and Lo!
Says, ‘Get around again, you were too slow’.

John and Tom Walk On

John was born of humble stock,
Tom was bred with money.
John had poverty and poor food,
Tom had milk and honey.

Both were given fairest chance
Gained from previous times,
John to struggle to survive
Tom to taste the wines.

When they grew up, they went out
Into life’s great way,
John to work hard and to toil,
Tom always, to play.

Many years passed by that way,
Until that fateful Augean day
When in battle they both fell down,
Mortally wounded for King and crown.

Passing through a portals light
They both saw a being shinning bright;
Who beckoned with his hand to John,
But didn’t seem to notice Tom.

John was lead into a realm
Of music, peace and light,
There he met those ones he’d loved
Who’d passed from his earthly sight.

Then Tom remembered everything,
About his life on the Earth,
His cruelty, greed and laziness,
From end back to his birth.

TOM THOUGHT:-
I must return to Earth’s great school,
As soon as fate allows,
This time for a life of toil and sweet,
My soul there to arouse.

Mind and Self

Mind is the slayer of the real,
it dwells upon illusion,
building personalities and causing such confusion.
It feeds the I and Me and Us
With all our worldly dreams,
whilst limiting our consciousness,
behind its devious screens.

Beyond the mind the real SELF is silently aware,
of the suffering lower parts in frustration and despair.
The time has come for mind to ask,
The real subjective question,
opening up communion then in a spiritual direction.

The real trek now has just begun
and you are on your way,
setting foot upon the path
while finding that each day,
is lit with a light of peace and joy
not of an earthly kind,
soon to transcend mundane thoughts,
Enlightenment to find.

Animal or Human

For millions of years on this planet
animals reigned serene.
keeping in time with nature,
following rhythm supreme.

Then suddenly through evolution,
Life threw up a being, Human,
Who tried to disturb perfect balance,
And utterly spoil nature’s plan.

It seemed for a time this disruption,
would alter the course for all time,
but as in the past equilibrium,
restored the perfection and Rhyme.
